Media Expert Discusses Election Coverage
November 20, 2008
Professor Robert M. Entman addresses questions about the 2008 presidential campaign:
Was media coverage of Sarah Palin biased?
How did coverage of the financial crisis affect Obama?
After the costliest campaign ever, is it time for a new approach to campaign financing?
Entman is a visiting professor at Duke University this year teaching courses in political communication and writing a book called Media Bias Scandals. His previous books include Projections of Power: Framing News, Public Opinion, and U.S. Foreign Policy and The Black Image in the White Mind: Media and Race in America. Entman is the J.B. and M.C.
