The course, which begins September 9, will examine the causes of the attack and the U.S. policy response.

Corey's Second Wind
Internship Director Elise Goldwasser's daughter Corey had a successful double lung transplant in June in St. Louis. Corey is now out of the hospital and the family will return to Durham in September. This photo shows Corey with her transplant surgeon.

Lauren Moore Kase PPS’02 has joined the Sanford staff as a major gifts officer in the Development & Alumni Relations Office. A former member of Duke’s Lady Blue a cappella group, Kase was most recently executive director of National Students of AMF, a program that supports college students grieving the illness or loss of a loved one. Annual Fund Exceeds Goal
Many thanks to the 1,376 generous donors who gave a total of $670,566 to the Sanford School’s Annual Fund in fiscal year 2012-2013. We thought that the original goal of $550,000 was ambitious, but with the support of people like you, we not only met it, we exceeded it by nearly 22 percent!
